Students: Get Involved

Visiontech welcomes students to the yearbook creation process, taking them along during every phase as we develop their school yearbook.

Participating students obtain valuable experience working with creative tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite - a tremendous skill they can utilize as they progress into their careers.

Several Visiontech students have leveraged the skills obtained during the print and video yearbook creation process to launch their careers.

From Visiontech to Drone Racing

“As a high school student, I collaborated with Visiontech to develop my school’s video yearbook. Visiontech’s team taught me proper storytelling and how to use professional editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. These skills were invaluable as I moved into my career - and into my current role as a video editor at NBC’s The Drone Racing League.”

From Photographer to Manager

“When I was a student, I worked with Visiontech in a variety of ways, including as a photographer and graphic designer. These skills proved to be invaluable, as they landed me a marketing job and several promotions at a major law firm. I’ve since leveraged these skills to move on to a managerial role at a 125-year old institution.”
